Young Adult Round Table: Collaborate, Innovate, Create

“Youth is happy because it has the capacity to see beauty. Anyone who keeps the ability to see beauty never grows old.” -Franz Kafka

On April 8th, Manzanita Arts Emporium will be opening its doors to anyone interested in learning more about what they can do with Young Adult literature! If you come, bring a book jacket you find visually captivating, and some questions for our guest speaker Angelica Jackson, published author of Crow's Rest, a young adult urban fantasy. Mariah and I, as interns at Manzanita Writers Press and at the Emporium, will have the privilege of hosting Angelica as well as any aspiring authors and fans of YA fiction. Both of us have a passion for adolescent attitudes in literature, being slightly-post-adolescent lovers of literature ourselves.

Any questions or RSVP calls should be directed to the Manzanita Arts Emporium phone number and email, as listed on our flyer above. Hope to see you there!

Until we meet again,
Hayley Perry

MWP intern
